Growth Compass ("we", operated by Zhong Guishen (Sole Proprietor)) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and services, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights you have.
1. Information We Collect
· Account info: when you sign in with Microsoft or Google, we receive your email, name, and avatar. · Diagnostic input: the product status, stage, and bottleneck data you submit for growth diagnosis. · Usage records: pages you visit, tools you use, and task check-off state. · Payment info: payments are processed by our payment processors (Creem and Waffo Pancake); we only store subscription status, never your card details. · Data source connections: when you connect Cloudflare, we store the API Token you provide (encrypted with AES-GCM, used solely to pull your own read-only analytics) and the daily request/page-view metrics we fetch. You can disconnect anytime from the diagnosis page; the encrypted token is wiped immediately.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide growth diagnosis, generate action plans, save your console progress, manage subscription access, and improve the product. We never sell your personal information. The service is intended for users aged 16 and older; if you are under 16, please do not use it. In addition, when you opt into the Anonymous Benchmark Program, metrics you record join peer benchmarks in aggregate statistical form only (median, quartiles; never published when sample < 10). The opt-in is off by default and can be revoked anytime; the next aggregation excludes your data. No product-identifiable raw values are ever displayed.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a secured cloud database (Neon) and transmitted over encrypted connections. We take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We retain your data only for as long as needed to provide the service, until you delete your account or request deletion.
4. Third-Party Services
· Creem and Waffo Pancake: as payment processors (Merchants of Record) they handle payments, invoices, and subscriptions; their respective privacy policies govern the data they handle. · Cloud platform (Cloudflare Workers / Workers AI): provides hosting and AI capabilities. · Identity providers: Microsoft and Google for authentication.
5. Your Data Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your account data at any time. To delete your account or data, contact us via the email below.
